Countdown to Christmas
Winter has arrived in Ottawa and the snow is flying! Hence, the rather hideous looking pink plaid eskimo hat I am now sporting on a daily basis. Warmth takes priority over style these days and luckily, most people in Ottawa follow the same premise. Those who don't are too busy holding their chic leather gloves over their ears or pulling their collar up to notice what the rest of us warm folks look like :)
With Christmas fast approaching, I'm getting pretty anxious to get home and see my family and friends. Three more weeks of work including two days in Toronto and two days in Quebec which means the time will go very quickly. Along with that, we have Jenn's birthday this Tuesday and we're hosting a party for her and another friend's birthday on the weekend. December 17th and 18th we have Christmas parties and the 20th and 22nd are work Christmas lunches too! My flight home is December 24th in the morning on Bearskin (the teeny tiny airplane that fly to all the random airports in Ontario) to Kitchener. I'm home until the 2nd of January which means lots of time to see all my Thamesford and area crew.
I hope everyone is getting their decorations up, their trees trimmed and their presents wrapped! Tis the season to be jolly!
